When you are far from your property

How many kilometres separate you from your property
when something needs to be dealt with in person? 

Perhaps you have moved to another city, live abroad for part of the year, or simply bought a property somewhere other than where you live. As long as everything is running smoothly, distance may not be a problem.

But when you are far away, it may be necessary to hand over the apartment, inspect its condition, arrange a repair, end a tenancy or attend an HOA meeting. An ordinary matter suddenly turns into a journey, a change of plans and several extra hours. At that point, it is no longer you who decides how to spend your time, but your property.

Owning a property from a distance does not have to mean always being ready to travel there or having to find someone each time to handle what is needed on your behalf.
